Beachy Keen
I haven't been to the beach once this summer (even though I live across the street, ummm). Still, I like the idea of going to the beach. In my hypothetical beach scenario, sand doesn't get in places it shouldn't and these two bands are playing on the breeze.
DOM: saw them opening for Memory Tapes and they rocked. Some of their fratty friends were in the audience and wayyy too drunk. One got kicked out. One tried to crowd surf, and he hit the floor hard. New Yorkers are not enthusiastic at concerts, man.

Also saw Real Estate recently at the (le) poisson rouge. The back-up guitarist, who I think is the lead in the band Ducktails, was jumping around and very cute
